About my PHD Thesis

Jon's thesis is about urban transformations in Catalan coastal municipalities from tourist destination to the metropolitan periphery. For this aim, the thesis is based on the evolution of creative class in Catalan country in the intercensal period 2001-2011, the relations of these creatives with the municipalities from 4'Ts based analysis and the transformations in residential choices, leisure choices, urban planning and symbolic universe of the creatives in the new towns where they are living. The thesis is supervised by Francesc González Reverté (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, UOC) and Salvador Anton Clavé (Universitat Rovira i Virgili, URV).

It's planned deffend the thesis in October 2019.

The thesis is a four (or more) high impacte paper-based.
